Payment Terms and Conditions

Acceptance of Terms

By accepting any quotation, proposal, or estimate issued by Wired by JP Ltd., the Client acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these Payment Terms and Conditions in full. 

Payment Due 

All invoices are due and payable upon receipt, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing by Wired by JP Ltd.

Deposits

Projects exceeding £500.00 are subject to deposit prior to commencement of any work, supply of goods, or provision of services. The deposit amount will be communicated and must be paid as a condition precedent to commencement. 

Late Payment

Any amounts not received within the specified terms shall be deemed overdue. Wired by JP Ltd. reserves the right to apply late payment fees, including but not limited to administrative charges and/or interest on the overdue balance at the maximum rate permitted by applicable law. 

Suspension of Services

Wired by JP Ltd. reserves the right to suspend or withhold delivery of goods or services in the event of non-payment, and shall not be held liable for any loss, delay, or damages arising therefrom. 

Recovery of Costs

In the event of default, the Client shall be liable for all reasonable costs incurred by Wired by JP Ltd. in the collection of outstanding sums, including but not limited to legal fees, collection agency fees, and court costs. 

Variation of Terms

These Payment Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time at the sole discretion of Wired by JP Ltd. Any such amendments shall be communicated in writing and shall take effect from the date specified.

Cancellation & Call out Policy

We value our customers’ time and do our best to be flexible. However, when a booking is cancelled at short notice, it can leave us unable to allocate the time to another customer. To cover this, the following cancellation policy applies:

Less than 24 hours’ notice or same-day cancellation
The full call-out fee of £80 + VAT will be charged.

Special orders / larger projects
If materials have already been purchased or a deposit has been taken, the cost of materials and/or deposit will be non-refundable in addition to the cancellation fee.

Missed appointments (no access provided / customer not present)
Treated as a same-day cancellation and charged at £80 + VAT.

Workmanship Guarantee 

We take pride in the quality of our work and aim to provide our customers with complete peace of mind. All work carried out by Wired by JP Ltd is covered by our Workmanship Guarantee:

Guarantee Period
– All workmanship is guaranteed for a period of 12 months from the date of completion, unless otherwise stated in writing.
 

Manufacturer Warranties
– Some fixed accessories or materials we install may carry a longer warranty directly from the manufacturer. All related paperwork must be kept to validate any manufacturer warranty claims.
 

Our Commitment
– If any defect covered by this guarantee arises within the guarantee period, we will return to site free of charge to investigate and rectify the issue.
 

Limitations
– This guarantee applies only to the original customer and property where the work was carried out.
– Any modifications or interference with our work by a third party will invalidate this guarantee.
